Tarrant County schools are overcrowded. Our textbooks are
outdated and we’re short on computers. But still, our State
Legislature has failed to pass a school finance plan that
adequately funds our public schools. Paula will fight to make
quality public education our state’s top funding priority.
Reducing Health Care Costs
Texas businesses and families are paying skyrocketing health
care premiums because the cost of treating the uninsured gets
passed on to patients who have insurance. Paula is the founder
and CEO of a company that helps hospitals deal with the crisis
of the uninsured. In the state legislature, she’ll work to make
quality health care more affordable.
Cracking Down on Child Molesters
Paula will fight for tougher mandatory jail sentences for sex
offenders who prey on our children. Paula co-founded the
Alliance for Children, which has been a safe haven for over
20,000 abused children.
A Businesswoman Who Gets Results
As a former member of the Arlington City Council, a small
business owner and lifetime member of the Chamber of Commerce,
Paula has earned a reputation for bringing people together to
get things done. She’ll work for bipartisan solutions to our
state’s toughest problems.
